Situation Critical

Decades ago, Alex completed a college course and went to work in medical clinics. After some time, Alex worked for the health region assisting clients in their homes who were either discharged from the hospital or needed assistance with activities of daily living in their home.
 
The author also worked in long term care facilities having been exposed to them since the age of 13. At this time, health regions were in their infancy. It did not take a long period of time for Alex to note the erosion in the services after the health regions commencement.

Having experience working in medical clinics, hospitals and long-term care facilities (personal care homes) gave Alex the opportunity to see the workflow and continuation of medical services into long term care.

As of 2025, Winters considers the health system to be close to complete collapse. Alex hopes the public will state enough is enough and demand change back to efficiency.
